Daysake Terms of Use

Version 1.0 (English) · Effective date: 2026-11-03 · Last updated: 2026-11-03

These terms are an agreement between you and Inadle (아이나들, "we" or "us"), which runs Daysake. They explain how you can use Daysake and what each of us is responsible for. Daysake is a private notebook where parents and the family members they invite write down a child's day and keep it in one place.

By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://daysake.com/en/privacy/).

1. Who we are

2. Who can use Daysake

3. What Daysake offers

Daysake currently lets you:

Photos. You choose one photo from your photo library for a page. We keep smaller copies and a thumbnail, not the original file, which stays on your phone. We ask for your permission the first time you use this feature. If you delete the page, the photo is deleted too.

Daysake does not offer:

4. New features

We may add features later, such as voice notes, AI summaries, long-term storage plans, or paid products. The consent you gave when you signed up does not cover them automatically. Before you use a new feature, we will explain what it does, what information it uses, its conditions and price (if any), and how to stop using it, and ask for your consent where needed. You can choose not to use optional features.

5. Your pages

6. Downloads and account deletion

7. Paid services

Daysake does not take payments today. If we offer paid features in the future, we will tell you the price, billing period, refund and cancellation terms, and the role of the app store or payment provider before you buy. We do not collect card numbers or other payment details directly.

Pages you have already written will never be locked behind payment or deleted because of a price change. Writing, reading and Download everything stay free.

8. What you must not do

9. Limiting or suspending use, and family disputes

If you try to access another family's notebook, add a child's information without the right to, or try to get around our security, we may pause access to Daysake or to the related pages while we look into what happened. Where appropriate, we then delete the account or pages.

If the adults in a notebook disagree about it, for example after a separation or divorce, we do not take sides. We follow a court order or other legal requirement that applies to us. Before we limit access to a notebook or delete pages because of such a dispute, we will tell the people writing in it and give them 30 days to download everything, unless a court order or the law requires us to act sooner.

10. Changes and shutting down

11. Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Daysake running and your notebook safe. Please download everything from time to time.

To the extent the law allows, Daysake is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that Daysake will always be available or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses that we could not reasonably foresee or that were not caused by our failure to meet these terms. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about Daysake is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Daysake in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in this section limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of your country (Section 12).

12. Consumer rights, governing law, and disputes

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of that country. For example, if you live in Australia, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. In the UK and the EU, you keep the protections of your local consumer law.

If you have a problem, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to solve it together.

Apart from those mandatory rights, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes will be handled by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act and other applicable law. Unless you and we agree otherwise, the Seoul Central District Court will be the court of first instance.

13. Language

These terms are published in English and Korean. If the two versions ever differ, the version in the language you use the app in applies.

14. If you got Daysake from the Apple App Store
