They get buried, with no age next to any of them. Daysake puts every line in one notebook, in order, with how old your child was. On quiet weeks, it hands you a question to ask.

What you do with Daysake

One line is enough

Jot it down,
the age follows

Each page gets the date and your child’s age, like 7 months or 2 years 3 months. Remembered it later? Pick the day it happened. Daysake never rewrites what you wrote.

The Write screen for Noah, 2 years 3 months. A line is being typed: Tried on Dad's shoes. One foot in, walked off anyway. Below are recent pages and one from this time last year.
This week’s question

Nothing to write?
Ask them

Every Friday, one question picked for your child’s age. Write the answer just as you heard it. One reminder a week at most, at the time you pick.

This week's question for Mia, 5 years: What do you think grown-ups do at night? Her answer: Eat the treats. The ones up high.
Writing together

Both of you,
one notebook

Invite your partner, or anyone who helps raise your child. Each of you gets your own free account. Add a note to each other’s pages. Mark a page “Just me” to keep it to yourself.

A page by Mom: Sat by the front door with shoes on before dinner. I scare Daddy. Dad added a note that evening: I love Daddy as much as the Earth, and Mommy as much as the universe.
Birthday interview

Same question,
every birthday

Every birthday, the same few questions again. The answers line up year by year, so you can see them change.

How old is Mom? At 3 years: Ten. 'Cause you're big. At 4 years: Twenty. Grandma is a hundred. At 5 years: Thirty-something. You have gray ones.
